What is an Eligible Training Provider?
Eligible Training Provider (ETP) is a provider of training services who has met the eligibility requirements to receive WIOA Title I Adult, Dislocated Worker, and Youth funds to provide training services to eligible individuals.
What is the Eligible Training Provider List?
Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL) is North Carolina’s statewide list of approved providers of training services who are eligible to receive WIOA Title I funds.
Note: Having a program on this list simply means basic WIOA criteria for eligibility has been met. It does not mean that the program will be certified at the local WDB level and made available to WIOA customers in the local WDB area. This list is displayed and maintained in NCWorks Online.
How do I become a Training Provider?
Training Providers who wish to enter or update available courses for use in the system must register as a new Training Provider User by visiting NCWorks Online and clicking “Sign In” to create a Provider User Account. Once a new account request is approved, enter information about courses, including costs, schedules, credentials, etc. Providers can also request WIOA approval for specific courses.
How can I see a list of Approved Programs/Training Providers?
A complete list of Eligible Training providers is available in NCWorks. If you want to search for a specific provider by program, click WIOA Training Providers. Eligible Training providers are approved at the state level, though each Workforce Board retains the ability to determine the training demand in their impacted counties. If you have any questions about the Eligible Training Provider List, you may email etpl@ncworks.gov.
